Searching Beyond Databases for SHSC Staff and Students Online
This online session will cover how to search for academic sources of evidence beyond traditional database searching. These include journal hand searching, Google Scholar, citation tracking, related article searching, author searching and more.
Complementary search methods beyond database searching are especially important for literature reviews as they will help to find sources that are not indexed, and therefore cannot be found, in databases.
This session is suitable for both new and existing SHSC staff and research students and PG students undertaking a systematic approach to a literature review.
Once you have registered, you will be sent a link and instructions of how to join this webinar online via Teams, so you must check your student email address for this link.
