An introduction to climate change and sustainable healthcare for healthcare managers

An introduction to climate change and sustainable healthcare for healthcare managers In-Person

This workshop is a Masters class aligned to module NMS11189. It has been designed by five of our healthcare management students.

The event will be an opportunity for you to engage with others in a student-led workshop, engage in activities to make a real difference, as well as become a well-informed healthcare manager.

The aim of the workshop is to identify challenges and skills that a healthcare manager requires when developing a sustainable healthcare system that is good for patients and the planet.

In groups, we will explore the effects of climate change on health and the health service; we will share stories of climate change from across the world; we will talk about how to design greener healing environments for our patients.

All students from the healthcare management programme are invited to attend. Places are limited. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
