Introduction to O'Reilly: content, platform and app Online
In this online session I'll give you an introduction and overview of the O'Reilly (Safari) platform. O'Reilly content covers a wide range of subject areas across the university, with over 60,000 ebooks and over 30,000 hours of video from more than 200 publishers and industry experts. Our subscription gives Edinburgh Napier university students and staff unlimited access to O'Reilly so we'll explore the content and the tools available to help you organise and manage relevant materials. There's also an excellent app if you want to download content to watch or read offline.
The session will include:
- an introduction to O'Reilly,
- setting up long term access and how to sign in,
- explore the O'Reilly site, including content and tools available,
- time for questions.
This event is delivered via Microsoft Teams and registration is required. We'll send you the link to join the meeting when you have completed registration.
