Systematic Approaches to Literature Reviews for SHSC Students In-Person

Come along to this online webinar to learn about systematic methods for doing a literature review. You will learn how to plan a systematic search, how to develop inclusion and exclusion criteria in order to select sources systematically, how to capture your source selection methods using the PRISMA flow diagram. You will also learn about some of the available critical appraisal tools you can use to appraise your selected sources.

This workshop is suitable for Postgraduate students and researchers doing a literature review as a stand-alone assignment or as part of a dissertation. For support with literature searching more generally please attend the Searching for Academic Sources workshop.
