Open Access, Repositories, and 'Predatory' Publishing

Open Access, Repositories, and 'Predatory' Publishing Online

This session is in two parts. The first will describe why open access is important for you and the university. We’ll discuss how to add an item to the outputs section of Worktribe, and other ways in which the library can support you with open access. In the second part, we’ll discuss ‘predatory’ or deceptive publishing, and how to make smart publishing choices. And of course, there will be lots of time to ask questions.

This session is part of the Digital Library Skills Programme 2021, a rolling programme for academic staff, available on alternate Tuesdays and Thursdays at noon.
