Janis MacCallum (School of Applied Sciences) and Jyoti Bhardwaj (School of Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment) will share their experiences of discussing Generative AI with students, adapting DLTE's AI toolkit 'traffic lights' system, and using AI declaration cover sheets for assessments. This session will cover the pros and cons of these approaches, and what might be ways forward. This session will be of interest to you if you are looking for ideas on how to discuss Generative AI with students, and consider the implications for assessments
