Understanding Scientific and Health Journal Articles for SHSC and SAS Students In-Person
This online webinar will introduce you to techniques to better read and understand scientific and health academic journal articles. Journal articles are an important academic source you need to include in your assignments and this workshop aims to improve your confidence when reading and interacting with these sources.
Topics covered include how to locate and interpret journals, the differences between review and research articles, the structure of articles, and some reading and note-making techniques.
This workshop is only suitable for SHSC and SAS students, if you are in a different school and need support with this source type please contact your Subject Librarian.
